airport located at Paro. Druk Air, the national carrier,
is the only airline serving Paro. For Bhutan travel,
there are four flights a week from Bangkok, three flights
a week from Calcutta, two flights a week from New Delhi
and Kathmandu and one flight a week from Dhaka and Yangon.

Entry points into Bhutan are by road through Phuentsholing in the South, or by air in Paro. Druk Air, the national carrier is linked to four cities in three countries. During the festival season Druk Air arranges additional flights accordingly.

There is no charge for delays in arrival and departure because of weather condition disrupting flights or roadblocks. The tourist must however bear the cost of food, accommodation, transportation, and other services required.
