Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel for our vacation in
2004 from the Internet. Why? We e-mailed several
companies, and Sithar at Bhutan Yak Adventure
was among the most responsive. He answered endless
questions and was more-than-willing to change
itineraries for us. When we arrived in Bhutan,
arrangements were just as promised -- and better
than we expected, with a superb and knowledgeable
guide, professional driver and accommodations
exactly as described. Best part of our trip: Fall
festivals in Thimpu and Wangdue. What we were
sorry we missed: the west. Most worthwhile hike:

| Travelling
to Bhutan was a dream come true for me. Before
leaving I was apprehensive that I might have been
in for a disappointment after so much dreaming,
however it turned out to be even better than I
expected. Out of all the countries I have visited
Bhutan had the biggest impact on me because of
its purity in all the senses. I travelled there
with my mother who is 70 years old. Our guides,
Sithar and Rinzin, treated us as if we were their
mother and sister rather than clients. They were
responsible, helpful, honest, punctual and extremely
cheerful. Thanks to their extensive knowledge
I have learned so much more about the Himalayan
culture and Buddhism than I ever did on any of
my previous visits to this region. I am very grateful
to Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel for helping me
to make my dream come true and to Bhutan for showing
me that Shangril.la is not a legend. Shangril.la

good Hotels, the guide, Mr. Karma was very helpful,
informative and always smiling. We also happen
to meet Sithar Tamang, the Managing Director of
the company, a young man of 35 yrs. He is very
lively, full of fun..You will like his sense of

Everything
is so well organized....Good Hotel, very good
food, very good guide, very informative... vehicle
not very good but good driver. You have to change
the vehicle.... otherwise everything perfect.

Well Ulla called me last nights and we had a very
long talk from Sri Lanka to Hawaii. She absolutely
raved about your service. All the guides, and
your country and expecially the food. Most special
was the v ery kind thought of you to make her
a birthday cake. this is so special and loving
of you. I know these things you do come from the
heart and this is why we foreigners seek out your
genusine ways. I think we (imperialists) have
lost much of this caring. Also, of course, it
makes me want to come soon. I am not still sure
if I can arrive in August;I am working on it.
HOWEVERE, because of such ecommmnedations, after
May, I WILL add you to our site and then after
I know Bhutan will say something special about
it in a full page on site. this will at least
get us continually working together. I think you

Bhutan Tour in Oct. 2005 through a Travel company
in Holland, Nepal Service. The Local company was
Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel. We were amazed by
the beauty of the country and people were always
smiling. We did a Trek (Gangtey Trek). There were
also other Tourists on the same trek who booked
through other local companies but they were not
very happy with the arrangements. Bhutan Yak Adv.
Travel made a perfect arrangements for us. The
Guide entertained us... food was perfect, the
Hotels were good. The Tour Host, Sithar Tamang
is a very lively person and was always concerned
about our comfort. The service was best &
very personalized. We strongly re-commend this
company and wish them the best! |

was very prompt in replying our mails. We enjoyed
the Tour of this beautiful country. For more info,

I chose Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel for my holiday in October 2006. When I landed at Paro airport, arrangements were just as promised -- and better then what I had expected. I had a very sincere and knowledgeable guide Namgay Nidup who was always ready to answer my questions and plus a professional driver Tsetu who was well disciplined. All the best Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel and keep up the good work. I must come back, since this wasn’t nearly enough time to really enjoy and appreciate this beautiful country.

My wife and I always had a dream of visiting Bhutan since we heard wonderful things about Bhutan. Finally our dream came true and we contacted Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel. Our trip to Bhutan (also called Land of the Peaceful Dragon) turned out to be perfect tour. Out of all the countries we have visited Bhutan had the biggest impact on me because of its rich tradition and culture which is well preserved. Our guide Mr. Kinley Tshering was very informative and was a true gentleman. He was helpful, honest, punctual and extremely cheerful. My wife and I learned so much more about the Himalayan culture and Buddhism than I ever did on any of my previous visits to this region. I am very grateful to Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel for helping me to make my dream come true. We are planning to come back again to this wonderful Kingdom most probably in 2008.

My wife, a friend of mine and I booked our Bhutan Tour through Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel in October 2006 to do the Jomolhari round trek. The arrangements on the trek were excellent and our cook Mr. Kuenga served us great food. Even our Guide Mr. Jamyang Dorji was outstanding, very helpful, informative and always smiling. We also happen to meet Sithar Tamang, the Managing Director of the company. He was very friendly, cordial and full of fun. Overall we had a fantastic tour/trek.

The information and the itinerary were perfect. It would be difficult to explain everything as Bhutan is unique. We were greeted with great love and respect as we stepped out of the airport. Our guide Karma Gyeltshen was always attentive. It was a great joy to me to be in a land focused on Buddhism principles and visit ancient monasteries and dzongs. This was our first visit and we would love to return. You are the best.

Our tour with Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel (Sept. 03, 2006 to Sept. 09, 2006) was excellent. The staff was very easy to get along with and our guide Mr. Wangchuk explained everything very well. Everything was organized for us yet the itinerary remained very flexible. A lot was changed and added to better suit our interest in various aspects of Bhutan. Over all, we are extremely happy with our time in Bhutan and highly recommend B.Y.A.T. for a great time in this wonderful country.

The trekking team was outstanding. Superb vegetarian food on the Druk Path trek. Our trekking guide Ugyen let me go at my own pace on the trek. The trekking crew took great care of me when I was unwell. Would like to return possibly in 2008 through Bhutan Yak Adventure Travel.

Everything went very smoothly with our trip. Being greeted with Khaddar (welcome scarf) at the airport was especially nice for us. Being vegetarian I thought there might be more problem but our guide Karma pre-arranged some things to make sure where we ate had plenty of vegetarian choices for us. On the whole our trip was very satisfying.
